Fine Tubes, a world-leading manufacturer and global distributor of precision tubes for a wide range of critical applications, is exhibiting at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) which is being held at Le Bourget near Paris from October 14th to 16th.
Fine Tubes has a history of developing tubes for the nuclear industry dating back to the 1970s when the company started supplying nuclear fuel cans to the UK's first generation of gas cooled reactors. As nuclear power evolved, so too did the company’s expertise in the manufacture of tubing for AGR, pressurized water, light water, heavy water and fast breeder reactor technologies.
Working in close partnership with its customers, Fine Tubes has developed tubing products for power generators, heat exchangers, super pressure heaters and other vital equipment in a range of materials, including stainless steel, nickel, titanium, and zirconium alloys. Its products can be found in nuclear plants in the EU, the US, Canada, India and China. Recent projects include producing tubes for heat exchangers for both the Flamanville and Taishan nuclear power plants.
Fine Tubes sees WNE as an ideal platform for demonstrating its expertise and its record of achievement to potential new customers and business partners. As the leading international exhibition for the entire nuclear energy sector, WNE is expected to attract some 6000 visitors, including key decision makers from across the world - from the private sector, governments and academia.
Mr Charles Ferreira, Fine Tubes' D.G. Division NUCLEAIRE, commented: "WNE promises to be an excellent opportunity for us to meet some of the most influential people involved in the world’s nuclear power industry. We're looking forward to making the most of that opportunity."
